Just to let you know I will not be adding any more to Bananas for a long time.

Everything that I have on Bananas is obsolete.

All have new updated versions found in my forums.

Only when I satisfied what I have in my forums is complete with no silly mistakes ( which often I don't notice for days or months later), plus keep getting new ideas and add more.

These taken in NewSouth Wales, Australia between Newcastle at Maitland.

First was taken at Victoria Street Station.

It is a container train heading to Brisbane. these trains can be as long as 2 1/2 m.

This one taken at Metford Station of 2 coal trains. Have fun counting the number of wagons on each of them. Each loaded wagon is 120 tonnes and empties are 20 tonnes.

Hi all,

I'm at a stand still for now with my projects.

I now in Philippines for a while with my fiancée arriving here last Tuesday. One of my baggage failed to arrive and eventually received it on Friday. They say it was delayed as they removed a Power Bank I had in the baggage. Didn't know at the time that Power Banks not allowed in Check-in Luggage and suppose to be part of carry-on bag. My fault as didn't read the fine print.

But they also removed my portable hard drive with all my projects on it as well as all the photos I had taken of railway stations and infrastructure the past few years.

I been always wanting to re-do my stations and platforms and many of the object sets, so this will give me the opportunity to do those again.

Let you know when I start getting unvolved into it all again.

Any chance of recovering your hard drive? That blows, man. Glad you're settling into your new spot, though. Take a load off!

It be back in Australia where the opened the luggage. It possible they mistook the hard drive for another Power Bank .. and also so some one might have just took it as fit in a pocket easy.

I got no plan to go back to Australia till after Christmas maybe a lot later.

All the informatioon on the portable hard drive is on a hard drive in main computer back in Australia, so not all been lost. Just not accessible at the moment.

I be heading back to Australia on the 17th September and while at Sydney airport I will make enquires to see if I can get my hard drive back.

Got a few medical things to get checked and hope come back to Philippines end of October.

Majority of my work should still be on my main computer in Australia so will have another go bring a copy of all of that back to Philippines with me.

That could be a idea or alternatively I should zip up each of my projects and put here as I don't mind others seeing what I been doing. They will get to see some templates I don't usually put in the source.

Be just the photos and videos I taken be the problem but if I can't get my portable drive back when in Sydney next week, I'll buy another one and this one I will keep in my carry on luggage

RADIO COMMUNICATION PROJECT

Thanks to a idea from SimYouLater I been experimenting with a Radio Communication System to send MAIL through the air.

Much thanks to makers of "OpenGFX Playable UFOs v1.0" and "OpenGFX+ Airports" I been using their graphics and coding to experiment with.

The signals will operate the same as Helicopters but at a much higher speed.

I converted some Helicopter Airports to have communication towers and I changed the UFOs to small flashing lights to represent the radio signals.

The image shows a Air Depot and a Heliport. Just above each aerial you can see a small lights that represent the signals.

Problem is the signal works same as a helicopter rises up above the aerials and zigzags around the sky till it lands on next aerial. I don't think that problem can be fixed. Also they travel fast so not easy to click on them if you wish to change their orders. If more than one signal is due to arrive at same aerial, one just darts around the sky till it is its turn to land.

But before I continue with this idea I'd like you opinion if you think it be worth continuing on with this idea?

See most of you download the Ogfx-Airports and just a few of the "UFO.GRF"

You actually need both so what I done I combines them together as one file and called it AuzRadio.

I will delete the ones above so only this on is available.

So if you downloaded the other please delete them and use this one.

Two minor issues:

1. In all the Auz Station sets, something in the station menu list is causing the list to grow wider than it needs to be, it's chewing up screen real estate for no good reason.

2. In Auz More Freight Stations, the Raised Platforms are showing rainbow-color place holders rather than real sprites.

I think that might be because I have them to long of a description .. will see if I can shorten them see if that helps.

The Auz More Freight Stations is my test ground. It was not intended to be uploaded into my forums but when I was having computer problems I up loaded everything for safe keeping.

Those pretty platforms I used when I was learning how to make them. I found using those lovely bright colours made it easier to test and check alignment and placing actual items that needed to fit in that position.

It my dream to eventually re-do my station sets and sort them a lot better, but getting side tracked and roaded and in some cases snowed under on other projects.

Many of the stations have their description to long .. will take me a while to check them all. Been told some time people can see what the item is without me describing to much .. so many I will change to the bare basics in descriptions.

This will make the sets almost new sets so wondering if need to rename them as well .. maybe starting from AuzStations Part 1 and AuzFreightStations Part 1 etc. Hope there is no objections or someone has a better suggestion.

I don't plan putting any of my work on Bananas until I sure they have no more issues which could be months away.

Success .. I been through my Station sets and removed all long names for Descriptions and in Rail Station Selections.

The reason I didn't notice this problem before is that I have a 27 and a 29 inch monitor attached to my desktop so never took any notice that it was too wide.

By making these changes the new sets will replace AuzStationsPlatforms, AuzStationsAndNonTracks, AuzStationsAddOns, AuzStationsMoreAddOns, AuzFreightStations_v008, AuzMoreFreightStationsV1, AuzSubwayStations and AuzTrainDepotExtensions.

I the new ones will cause problems if you keep the old ones and possibly have some conflicts. So best to move all those out of you newgrf folder and put them some where else before downloading the files that I will place in my Auz Stations Forum.

The new files will be AuzStations_Part1, AuzStations_Part2, AuzStations_Part3, AuzStations_Part4, AuzFreightStations_Part1, AuzFreightStations_Part2, AuzSubwayStationsV2 and AuzTrainDepotExtensions.

I'll add the source files in this forum in a few days time.

Could you add a link to the current version of every Set in the first Post?

When I first started coding and adding posts in this forum, I used to have the latest version on the first page. But some one complained and asked me to keep the originals and just add the new ones in a new post. So that what I been doing.

So to find latest releases start at the last page of my posts and work your way back.

My latest railway stations start here on Page 33.
You will find latest Waypoints followed those mentioned above post.
