Thanks for the quick update, OzTransLtd. And yes, indeed a more verbose message might be helpful.
Would you mind to upload it to bananas? I'd like to use it in a scenario for our PublicServer.

Re: Canadian/North American Graphics v1.0 Archive
I'd like to use Canadian Trains Set with FIRS Industry Set, but some cargos are missing in ethe train set, even with de parameters set to 0 128
will the use of CanSet with FIRS be supported in the future release.
Thx

OzTrans was planning to. I hope he hasn't changed his mindChico008 wrote:will the use of CanSet with FIRS be supported in the future release.
Which reminds me - OzTrans....over the last year or so various cargos have changed / been removed / added, or had their classes changed. Mostly due to play testing, sometimes to fix mistakes The list on my site is intended to be up to date, but the code remains the canonical point of reference. http://tt-foundry.com/sets/FIRS/schema/cargos

Oz has stated that the current 1.0 "final" sets will not be updated. The future updates will occur in the Canadian Theme Set, still unreleased.

Maybe someone could make a canset_firs addon grf, similar to dbset_firs.grf?

That should be feasable by means of the prop 11 of the general variables: http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... engines_11_

Re: Canadian/North American Graphics v1.0 Archive
I would like to report this.
wiki states:
Despite that Canadian train set is really nice one. Especially I like cargo wagons , that change color when they are connected in a multiple set Thanks !!!
wiki states:
But in canset ver1.0 I cannot disable wagon speed limitation. It would be nice if it could be fixed one day , because it confuses ( at least me ) a bit. Some newgrf's have wagon speed limits to make them more realistic, this option will enable/disable them.

Just wondering if with the NARoads.grf, weather support will be added for the Alpine Climate parameter included with OpenGFX+ Landscape. Heres a screenshot to explain the problem..

Re: Canadian/North American Graphics v1.0 Archive
Sorry to bother again, but..
In a game I had, I was using a bunch of newgrfs as you do, including NACitySet. Played through it for a good few game years and all of a sudden the original TTD buildings started to spring up. I hadn't changed anything.
I tried opening the scenario editor using the same set of grfs and original buildings appeared aswell as the NA ones. I've tried removing all grfs except said one but the same thing happens.
Was just wondering if you knew why this has started to occur?

"This will also mean, that they will not be uploaded onto Content Download Services."
Damn! Not this! Favorite sets, excellent style, but now they are even hardly to find.
They'll have long life within online content.
Pleade, upload

Re: Canadian/North American Graphics v1.0 Archive
Hi!
Thanks so much for sharing this great set with the community.
I'm loving them, but I'm having minor issues and am wondering if there is a solution (OTTD 1.1 Windows)
1) Depending on the date of the game, the NA buildings just do not show up. If I start a new game in 1950, buildings are NA. I'm playing a game with Jan 1st 1912 as the starting date, and all buildings are original NewGfx. NA roads, however, display as normal.
2) I'm also trying to play with the total bridge renewal set, but narrow gauge tracks show as Maglev on bridges. Anyone has experience making the two sets compatible?

Re: Canadian/North American Graphics v1.0 Archive
The North American/Canadian sets were originally designed for use with TTDPatch but are compatible with OpenTTD. Consequently, in some of the sets, they might not be apparent before 1920/1921.
First of all, the NA City set is not complete. Some of of the original buildings have yet to be replaced. At the start of a game you may see only original buildings, but as the game progresses over time, where and when available, the towns will replace the original buildings with the NA buildings. It may be some time after 1920 before you see much activity.Oncle Boris wrote:1) Depending on the date of the game, the NA buildings just do not show up. The Total Bridge Renewal Set was never updated to support Narrow Gauge tracks. However if you check that topic, you should find a bridge set designed to compliment the North American Renewal Set's (NARS) narrow track parameter which should align well with Narrow Gauge. I do not use OpenTTD but I believe you can load several bridge sets into one game.2) I'm also trying to play with the total bridge renewal set, but narrow gauge tracks show as Maglev on bridges.
