Halo grf project

Hey guys i would like to do a halo 3 project :]
with you guys as you can see im new here im not good at making grfs
but good at drawing sprites so basicly i would like to get a bunch of halo fans
and make halo stuff ive made one sprite using paint.net
hopei can get help with this project

the army can also transport aswell cargo troops ect.

And which industry set supports armies?

Oh no, it doesn't...


But maybe fuzzlebutt94 indends to make such an industry chain.
Let me comment that the shape of the unsc is quite good, but the green is rather darkish where in the screenshot it's much paler. The TTD palette has some nice greens that should fit the thing much better. And maybe you can use the water cycle to simulate the engines (see hover bus for example).

thx i will sprouse them up a bit thanks for the heads up i would like to do an army chain but im new here and just want to make some eye
and + hence the halo project on title it willcover most of the transport area therefor its one step at the time so ill do air then road then trains then the army chain the main point of this is to make something diffent

oh ive used windows ottd pallet an revamped one sprite what do you think beter :) ?(

It doesn't look bad. Maybe that megalomaniac OTTD in future project could have use for it :) It wouldn't be Halo related though.

Thx only problem now is getting it in i read the whole nfo ect on wiki 3 times still looks like jiberish

Start with the tutorial bits (up till TheFirstVehicle). I know that's about a train, but the basics are the same. Once you understand the basics, the rest will become more clear. You don't need like 90% of the specification to get your aircraft working.

So yes, do a train first. You don't need to draw one; either knock out some box shapes or copy some sprites elsewhere.

As soon as you're stuck on something: ask. Then follow the same basic strategy for your aircraft. And again when your stuck: ask.

Make sure though when you ask that you specify exactly where you're stuck and what you don't understand. That way you'll get the more useful replies. :wink:
