A logo of the forum? Or a logo of OpenTTD. If it is the latter use a proper graphics manipulation program to make an image out of http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... tdlogo.svg.

I imagine if you got some of the rendered graphics from the OpenTTD Zoom project you might be able to do a larger (but not pixelated) version of the Logo, Andel.

The problem with the logo is that it's ancient :). Nobody plays with the standard graphics any more. (Not true, but it should be!)

Perhaps it should just be time for a new logo, and then that could be used on the T-Shirts.

Although that would be rather last minute.

As for people complaining that this is the wrong forum: It was posted here on purpose because this is the place where the artists hang out.

So why did you attach copyrighted material, again?

The logo isn't changing. Besides, even if we were to have a new logo, we'd still have the same problem that TTD sprites are not t-shirt resolution. :P

Also, if we were to have some sort of new graphics, there'd quite possibly be the whole issue of people complaining "how come he got his graphics put on the logo, and I didn't?", etc.

I imagine the OpenTTD Graphics Replacement project may well be able to come up with a higher resolution logo - I know there are some talented people out there. :)

Any special reason why there should not be a new logo?
And who says that a new logo would have to consist of an ingame screenshot with a border and some text?

It could be a proper logo!

Well, so far, of all the suggestions I've seen for a replacement logo, none of them have really made me think, "yes, that'd be a nice logo for us to have", to be honest. :P

Ever looked carefully at a US Military outfit? It's just enlarged TTD ground sprites they got on there :D

Which makes an enlarged TTD screenshot very suitable for use on clothing. From a distance, it's a proper image. From close by one can really see the art of pixel-pushing. I'd buy such a t-shirt

Oh? They aren't?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
