well

The chiken didnt, but the chicken did.

Every lifeform once was a little 1celled organism.

Which expanded and grew to have fins, and then to have wings and legs.

now due this evolution it had to *invent* a way to re-produce itself, and in this case it was eggs

I just came up with that theory too (mostly as sarcastic pandering to the Genesis Believers crowd).

Basically:
God created the universe etc etc it stands to reason He created the chickens with the ability to lay eggs (It wouldn't have made sense to create eggs first because then what would incubate them?). Thus with genisis either:
a) the chicken came first
b) They were both created at the exact same moment.

On the other hand, God isn't known for his common sense / general intelligence so he may have simply gone for eggs just to be difficult. :/

I haven't voted... Because there are only answers "Chicken" and "Egg". Noone was first! First was substance, energy, time etc. in one spot, then was big bang, etc...

Not quite, it is theoretically possible that there was something before the substance that caused the bigbang.

If you belive in God and follow any religion you know that God is infinite (also in existance). However I'm atheist and I perfer to use science to rule any infinities out, so God as the Bible, Koran, Kaballah or whatever describes it can't be a possibility IMHO. So that rules out 2 things: 'IMHO there is no God and I rule out an infinity.
