New railroad GUI
OK, I'm in doubt whether to post this as a suggesion or as a prob. First I really love the new railroad GUI, but the only ' problem' I have is that I don't seem to be able to determine the direction of railroad extension, i.e. I place a piece of rail and it always extends to the north. Is this a severe case of RTFM? I tried ctl- clicking the rail construction icon but that doesn't seem to help.

There is meant to be nothing in the station tab atm.
It is a WIP you know...
As for the crash, I get it too, but, why click on something that's blank?

Grfs coded ~ Finnish Train Set (Teaser) | Bm73 (Release 3) | Emu 680 (Release 3)| Glass Station (Release 1) | UK Roadset (Version 1.1a) | New Water Coasts (Version 7)

Re: New railroad GUI
I guess you didn't download the gui-graphics? because if you have them, you should have an arrow displaying the direction of the railroad extension, so you can see what you are doing.Co-RNeR wrote:OK, I'm in doubt whether to post this as a suggesion or as a prob. I am already aware of the crash, and it is caused by the tab being emptyiamtk421 wrote:I have a problem with the new railroad gui, where if I click on the stations tab, there's no stations shown. If I then click in the middle of the box, the game crashes.

locomotiongui
Will there be a way of selecting pieces of track after they are laid in order to demolish them ? Like the explode button in the default GUI. It seems a bit difficult correcting mistakes. I know it is a WIP, but just a thought.
Some neat development there..again...

WIP status / a44 ?
Was A44 supposed to fix anything with the locomotion gui?
When I set locomotiongui=3 and open the RR tool, the station icon is there but the panel is still blank.
I have guiw.grf - February 13, 2005 9:09:44 AM - Is there a more recent one that includes the stations and if so, where?
This one is really neat ... If I have to shut down TTDX real quick, like late for work or whatever, I just click on that blank space below the station.
Seriously ... it's looking good and if I'm missing something I'd sure like to get it to keep up.

MB's signal boxes and the US set stations now have foundations too! So I'm off to that thread to post my appologiessign wrote:When updating an executable thou shalt also update the shortcut
