What's so weird about that? Sure, the middle two wagons look different, but what else would one expect when adding different types of wagons to a train?

hmm, after playing a while. I think electrics trains are REALLY harder to profit than diesel, is that normal ? Don't you think ?

We want to prevent the player building Electric rails everywhere. Building electrified rails is lots more expensive. You may want to try the sandbox mode.

Hmm i mean, i like the idea of very expensive eletric rails (you may make this a bit higher) but i talk about running costs ! The electrics trains have very expensive running costs, particulary those with MU !

I believe that's on the to-fix list, but better engines (horsepower, top speed, tractive effort, capacity) will still be more expensive.

Hm, yeah ok, that's cool :D As you build the best train set ever, it would be nice to be best balanced !

For example: Two diesel trains with 11 double-decker wagons give me a profit of 200k each.
A TGV duplex (length: 12) on the same line give me -50k. I know the TGV is for giant lines, but it's nearly impossible to make a decent profit with on medium lines.

I believe we came to that same conclusion at an OpenTTDcoop game. :)

Oh that's nice !

I think the bigger part of the problem come from the running cost of motorised units. In fact, the running costs of electric locos is already way more expensive than diesels (in a general way) whereas it's greatly increased by MU. The fact RC of locos is higher is logical and fun but MU shouldn't increase so much the RC. (10k/year/MU would be nice isn't it ?)

That's my point of view, i dunno if it could be correct in practical situations !

Small glitch:

The "Gondola (Short)" (I haven't paid attention to if you have used livery overrides for this one, but this one's carrying wood) has a white stripe at the bottom of | view.

I have been developing a new scheme the last couple of days, and i think i've come to a conclution.

Engines/trains with high speed will have aprox or somewhat lower running costs, while the slow engines will have a significantly lower running cost. There are factors like horsespower and other as well, but i've created an exponential curve on the running speed, so slower engines will be a better choise, some times, as well as the fast ones will get slightly easier to use.

As well have the MU's gotten a new scheme. This is a tad complicated to explain, but you will see some changes.

Another change, electrics get a running cost bonus and purchase penalty, and steam the opposite.
What | Purch Price | Running cost
Steam---80%-----| ---120%
Diesel---100%-----|----100%
Electric--120%------|----80%

Hi,
I've found a very strange bug that seem only happens with the 2cc train set and eGRVTS. Sometimes, vehicles stop carrying cargos!!
An example here on the screenshot. My trams have to transport goods, they are correctly set up but THEY WONT DO IT :/ This already happened in another game !

I have to notice that i use the r14000 CargoDest OpenTTD build but this never happened before i use the 18th august alpha of 2cc Trainset.

Note:
- This can happens only with ROADS vehicles (incl. Trams) but i'm sure that linked !
- Cargo loading is detected in the station, the goods start to stock but are never loaded to vehicles !

Does the 2ccset work correctly? Is it just the trams?

i've used both 2cc and eGRTVS together on the normal nightlies, but never had any problems with the trams, it _might_ be a bug in the cargodest patch? im not saying i am perfefct, but it seem wierd to me ...
