Oh no, compiling...
I created a 24_hungarian_cleanup.pnfo file containing this:
Code: Select all
#include "remove_defines.pnfo"
#undef CASES
#undef CASE_T
#undef CASE_DEFAULT
#undef ENDCASES
Added these includes to the firs.pnfo file in sprites/nfo:
Code: Select all
#include "sprites/nfo/lang/24_hungarian.pnfo"
#include "sprites/nfo/param_translate.pnfo"
#include "sprites/nfo/lang/24_hungarian_cleanup.pnfo"
And inserted these lines into nfo_lang.pnfo after the gender translation table:
Code: Select all
#ifdef CASE_TRANSLATION_TABLE
// action 08, property 14 (NewGRF case translations)
-1 * 0 09 A1 04 \7< \dx110052D9 01
-1 * 0 00 08 01 01 LANG_ID 14 CASE_TRANSLATION_TABLE
#endif
Then I compiled FIRS in MSYS using make. This is the output I got:
Code: Select all

docs/readme.txt: done.
I tried it in the game, my translation appeared in the NewGRF options window for the description of FIRS, but it was still English in the game itself. What did I do wrong?

Maybe it's a bit better, but for 'Farm supplies', I think 'Mezőgazdasági felszerelés' is quite OK. It includes everything from machinery to fertilisers, 'segédeszközök' wouldn't really fit for fertilisers. So it's not really possible to keep that analogy.
