Also, I downloaded the latest nightly but I just can't load it - "GRF is using invalid ID". Any ideas?
I was about to report this but I see it has been done allready.
Last loading correctly is r69. All later available nightlies up to current refuse to load.(r82 at time of writing)
I hope this helps a bit in finding the error.

Forgive me if this has been asked, but is it possible to have trains travel over more than one type of track? ie. use 60kph on industry and meet up with a higher speed mainline? I tried it with normal trains from the 2CC set and it didn't work. Is this possible or am I just wishing?
Yes, it should be possible and it works for me with 2cctrainset and NuTracks. Track types can be indicated as compatible (like the usual rail and electrified rail tracks). And trains then can drive on those tracks which are compatible to their native track type.
Updates compared to r60 is basicly the subway feature. It is climate and snowaware. Next is to add support for the major citysets. Currently my plan is the swedish houses as well as TTRS. If anyone got any other wishes please cry out now. In that case, it would be nice to have a .png (or pcx for that matter) with 8 city core builings, 8 suburban buildings, and snowy versions, of they excist

What year are you in? A track type becomes available only when the first locomotive of that type becomes available. I.e. you get high speed rail w/catenary only when you get the first electric high speed rail.

As I wrote Im in 1989. Im using NARS and UKRS, so there are some electric locos with 160-225 km/h max speed at this time. What else need to become more eleectrified rail available?
I'm sorry to disappoint you but, AFAIK, Nutracks is still incompatible with NARS and UKRS. At least as far as I know... Go one-two pages back in this thread and see...
EDIT: sorry, I didn't see the year.

I've just tried UKRS2 with the third rail EMUs, but there's no option for 3rd rail track with a speed higher than 75mph - there's an EMU with a speed of 90mph, and some UK 3rd rail EMUs do 100mph (the speed record is 108mph, I believe, but speed limit is 100). Is there a way to enable more 3rd rail options? Maybe at the expense of subways (for me, at least) in the newer versions? I've tested with r86 and r60.
Also, r86 with UKRS2 seems to have some interesting bugs where the original engines also end up showing up (and the track enablers are called "Dresin"), plus faster tracks than the basic 50mph tracks don't show up (apart from the subway tracks) for a while, despite there being a train capable of 115mph (4-6-2 Streak) available. Note that when original trains with a higher speed show up (such as the Ginzu A4 - 80mph), the slowest basic (non-cat) track that will allow them to travel at full speed, does end up capable of being built. Catenary track shows up when the original electrics show up, enabling the slowest, and the 100mph (160kph) catenary track.
I'm not entirely sure how much of this is due to UKRS2 and how much is due to NuTracks, but I do know it doesn't matter which GRF is on top, it will still happen both ways round (new game started with only these two GRFs, new game for each test). Tested with ChillCore's PatchPack v7 (based on r20033), and r20164 Win x64
