Yes, check whether it contains sprites for the ogfxe_extra directory. These sprites will probably be incorrect either for original or opengfx and could better be left out, and added to the 32bpp-extra openttcoop project (provided they're GPL, else other graphics or relicense will be needed)

Wow, sorry I started the great zip debate! The good news is: It works! I love it! Keep up the wonderful, selfless work! Now I'm off to put it though it paces for real...

Thanks again guys and keep the updates coming, we all REALLY appreciate the hard work dedication to this most wonderful of old games. You have truly breathed new life into a classic over and over again in the last few years and I have personally hung on every update and spent hundreds of hours throughly enjoying the fruits of your labor. Kudos!

if you used those version i provided and its still its was the same error, than my bet is on your files being corrupted during download.
if you downloaded the files from the torrent than you dont need the pack since its the same files...

fust follow this:
Step 1 game files into new game folder.
Step 2 Basic set into gamefolder/data
Step 3 Additional set into gamefolder/data

or see wiki for more info http://wiki.openttd.org/32bpp_Extra_Zoo ... stallation
(if it dont work try to provide us an error msg.)

and no its doesnt work with TTD 0.7.5, to enjoy the Full zoom you need to use the patched version
although if you want you can try to compile your own version of 0.7.5 with fullzoom patch (again see wiki link for info)

Just to confirm the FULL PACK files are corrupted - tried downloading from two seperate sources and had the same problem - 7zip won't extract them.

Will try the torrent now.

Just to confirmed "unsupported compression method" error during extraction
means you archive software are old (not corrupted files)
neob wrote:update your archive software.

WINRAR - http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm (3.92 or better)
7z - http://www.7-zip.org/download.html (9.10 beta or better)
since i just downloaded the 'FULL PACK' and extracted it, with no problem again.
also the guy who uploaded using the same 'FULL PACK' the torrent downloaded it as well.

I noticed that the sprite of statue (done by Ben Robbins) is missing. It is not located in the 32bpp_fullzoom_city_buildings.tar. On the website http://wiki.openttd.org/City_Buildings_ ... raphics%29 however it is being stated it is done.

it might be in another Tar (can you find it in the game?) at the moment i am going over reordering some of them and found enough problems of this sort
or its might not been released or missing (or like that truck i am looking for, maquinista any ideas on the truck?)

anyway the '32Bpp Graphics Pack' use only what is in the repo, so this thread would probably fit bitter for your purpose
also did you just noticed this one or do you go over the list in the tracker cheeking it (if the latter tell me)

Maybe It can be added, but I think that is better to wait until Ben released the finished version.

Also, I think that some of their houses are almost finished (theatre and statue), ant They can be released easily.

What I've done is I downloaded every file that is in the Jupix repository and made one file out of it similar to the 32Bpp Graphics Pack, except I used the old directory style (trg1r etc). The reason why I did that is because the mega pack was not working with the orginal base graphic set (I don't like the OpenGFX graphic set). When I combined the various tars I didn't encounter the statue, however I did notice that sprites of the new power plant are in two tar files, but I can't remember which files.

I did check the tracker and I only noticed the missing statue.

Concerning your suggestion, you are right. That topic is better suited for this kind of discussion, but I was in doubt.

Well, I'm back with my report after spending a good week with 32bpp. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so...

i'm also seeding the torrent.

I thought that this pack would solve some issues one of which beeing the coastal tiles. But it doesn't so besides the latest full zoom sprites are incorporated like the fences and steelmill, i can't see anything different.

The torrent does not have the 32bpp-extra pack in it. That is the one solving the issues with the coastal tiles, also on openttdcoop devzone. You have to activate the newgrf

Hi guys...some weeks ago I downloaded the base pack and all works fine..now I have mistakenly changed some sprites in the ogfx1_base folder, so I have some graphic problem in the game..I've tried to re-download the pack for take again the folder, but when I try to exctract it, either winrar, either 7zip fail. "unknow method..."

Do you know why?
I've tried all the upload mirrors...
