I had a look through the pnfo System and such - at first I guess I'd prefer only to paint and upload if that's okay. I think I'd need a little time to get into it.

But I find it rather amusing that the vehicle spreadsheet contains Farmville crop calculations... I too have such a spreadsheet on my desktop :D

Of course that's fine. Drawing art work is no less demanding and no bit less work than hacking in the nfo to get the sprites actually displayed ingame with the results desired.

If you want to understand how the NFO works: have a look at sprites/nfo/2cctrainset.pnfo. That lists the files compiled into the newgrf in the order they're used. ids.pnfo defines a few things which are further referenced in the NFO in order to make it easier readable, you can discount that for now. The vehicles themselves are coded in their own files, e.g. like http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/2cc ... /2200.pnfo and only need their ID defined in - you guess it - ids.pnfo.

And I notice that we can take the template-ification even further. No need to copy&paste the bottom part which is re-used in nearly every MU This time firs is a step ahead :-) which learnt this from the 2cctrainset :-)

what is the "last part" PM? :)

and KVM:
It is because that were the only spreadsheet i had open at that time, and i werent bothered to open a new one... :P Its even larger now, as i've grown a few levels since then...

Ok I had a little try at the DB Class 103 engine. This version is not completely finished, just wanted to know what you think in general.
Also enclosed my other sprites up to now.

The 103 looks pretty cool, can't see the .PCX images though.

Oh my god! I can't believe you guys put the LRC in the latest nightlies! Im so happy that we have another Canadian train in there, though amtrak did try it for a bit, but I guess they found it unsatisfactory :\

Anyways, could you guys please include all the locos and wagons in the next nightly cause I really wanna play the game with all the 2cc trains, also that RAm Tee might be nice to play with.

Now if someone would do a MPI Express MP36PH-3C or MP40PH-3C (Currently only GO Transit, a company here in southern ontario canada, owns the 40 models), though they pretty much look the same so the only thing thats differnt are their specs.

When will the nightly releases have all the trains? I wanna try the new trains but I can't when theres nothing but passenger cars :\ And don't suggest I use another sets wagons\cars, the 2cc Train Set has some issues with other sets wagons or locos (mainly overlapping issues, like 2cc wagons over lapping another sets trains or 2cc locos over lapping other sets wagons)

Use another trainset along with it :P

But on a serious note ... The 2cc set should be compatible (gfx whise) with pikkas work now...

And we dont know when we will have all engines in ... When its done :) Work in progress you know ... And wagons is the last thing we are gonna add am i afraid... They need a bit of an overhaul i think :)

yeah, the wagons do. they need to be realigned and coded to work with other popular sets trains like NARS2 UKRS (soon to be PJK1K) US Set and Canadian Set

Why Royal Hudson engine accepts MU wagons??? 2cc 1.0.1 :-)

Your suppose to use the pax and express coaches for regular trains

May I make a suggestion to the set, I'm not sure if this is possible by new grf, but it would be an excellent feature, to allow non electric trains (steam and diesel) to run on the metro tracks, as they are the right gauge, just like they run on rails with over head wires.
