OpenTTD 0.7 website screenshots

Post by Alberth »

Hello all,

Today I added a few OpenTTD 0.7 screenshots to our website (http://www.openttd.org/en/screenshots) for new users.

Unfortunately, there is little diversity in the screen shots. Most are in the temporary climate and have one player only. I am sure you can make other screenshots that shows show how nice OpenTTD 0.7 is.

Screenshots should be plain 0.7.x (ie no patched versions), using the .PNG format. In addition there is room for a line of text to describe what is shown. Furthermore, anti-aliased 240x184 thumb-nails are appreciated.
You can post them in this forum.

Success!
Albert

I dunno about you guys, but I use OpenGFX whenever possible, in my opinion it just looks plain better. That and stolen trees! :D

@planetmaker: A very busy screenshot, but very diverse. Looking very good.

@Chrill: 'Orust & 08 Co., 7th Feb 1950.png' seems somewhat empty. ' CIA3.jpg' is looking very good imho (very usable, even if it is a .jpg). I think ' random2.jpg' is a bit too filled.

Keep up the good work!

Albert

PS: I am not sure about the use of OpenGFX. It is a great set, but it is not yet finished.

Another picture for you!!

It's using the UKRS and TTRS3. I've also made sure to enter when what was built, a nice thing to do if you want to see the progression of a company :)
