I downloaded this set, and I must say it looks pretty nice. Great job.

I have one question though. It might have been answered in this thread already, but I didn't really want to read the whole thing. It seems that the Polish steamer (OKz 32) has the same stats as the Dutch one (costs, hp, TE...) but its running costs are way lower. Is this intended? I didn't see much reason to build any other train than that one in the 1930s.

Alright, it's back to trying to get enough money to electrify my main lines...

...Hm...for my first game after 2040 i discovered the TurboBus MK1 MagLev Locomotive !

I was very surprised because i believed that there were no maglev in this set !

This loco is wonderful but i need to suggest two things:
- Could you make some paxMU wagons because we actually need to buy lots a locos to make a train (the running costs keep realistic because maglev has to cost a lot ! env500.000€/yrs for a 1.000 passengers train). The train could be more beautiful with styled wagons ! In this way, i suggest to dramatically increase the loco price (to balance it with the low price of the wagons) or the maglev wagons prices !
- Could you apply the low running cost when the engine is stopped because i like to overcrowed a line (one train wait at a station and block the other waiting at the depot. When this train start his travel, he make the station free so the next is coming to wait, etc...I just set a waiting time to make intervals between train...but it's totally off topic :D). With this setting, trains waiting at the depot won't cost so much (i suggest to make it a bit higher than the TGV Duplex).

well, this train were basicly a test-train when it were drawn and coded, to make a concept of "one car trains". I.e it's supposed to only be allowed to attach ... well, zero other engines to it. In other words, it's a one piece equipment, and its not ment to be in a train, as the name implies.

It clearly seems that it's still not the case, and i'll probably fix it tomorrow, along with the steamer purchase sprite graphics and the download page...

there, now the site is up to date again, and the purchase list bugs on 2 steamers are gone, as well as the turbobus mk1 cannot attach to itself.

Thirded (WinRAR), plus 404s for 2cc-coop.zip and 2ccpw.rar.

Did you possibly upload the zips in ASCII instead of binary?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Hi, I've got another question regarding vehicle costs: In the version I dowloaded (download link on the previous page), the running costs of the Australian class 442 are 1,575 pounds/year. Now all other trains (including ones with worse stats) have running costs that are way higher (~15,000 pound/year if I'm not mistaken). This seems to be a mistake, right?

Also, I find metro running costs excessively high. I use them around cities, thus for short distances. I use OTTD cargodest, so only at a few stations (with lots of connections) do many people get in. But that's not enough to pay for the running costs. Of course the fact that cargodest sometimes leads to negative income doesn't help, but still.

And before you fix the download link and thereby allowing DaleStan to download this set you might want to change the name of double decker passengar coach. ;)

Class 422: Well, that is indeed a mistake. It's supposed to be around 32k/year, and cost aprox 75k.

Metros: they all have a running cost around 25k a year, but adding wagons wont do much to the running cost price. All execpt the "one car trams". They have (ofcourse) a much lower running cost.

I just checked. The 2cc download seems to be fine (at least, I get a grf out of the rar-file using winzip). The metro tracks zip gives me an error while opening.

Hi,

I've been playing OTT since it came out, but I quit playing until today. The new features of OTTD are real good so I started playing again.

I've installed the 2cc pack, you did some great work there :)

I have 1 issue to report. Its's about the French 140C Steamer. This should be an engine with tender, but when I build it, the tender shows up as a copy of the engine. Could it be the graphics ar wrong?

Sorry if this was already reported.

Thanks for the reply. This is a well balanced set, so it alsmost felt like cheating to build the australian engine. How about the Polish one I posted about earlier? That was a no-brainer as well, and providing no-brainers doesn't seem to fit with the philosophy of this set.

As for metros: I can live with the high metro running costs I guess. I'll just use the cheap one-car ones if money is an issue. These things are usually to play around with if I have a lot of money anyway. Not that that's as a situation I find my in too often with this set, and Pikka's modified building costs. ;) It costs me a few thousand (inflation-free) pounds to electrify a main line. So it's a joy to finally see my TGVs running between two large cities, carrying passengers brought to them by metros. Great stuff!
