[OTTD] - lobsters onscreen adventures
Re: [OTTD] - lobsters onscreen adventures
Strange, because that is where I got it from. Unfortunately I do not know of any other location where one might find them.
Re: [OTTD] - lobsters onscreen adventures
i'm sorry, i noticed that link has gone bad earlier. i suggest you PM George about it, perhaps he could throw 'em up on GRFcrawler anyway. as everyone should.

On the first page, do you know what GRF you used for the train tracks?
Re: [OTTD] - lobsters onscreen adventures
Aren't those the Czech rails or something? I'm probably wrong

My Scenarios:

Re: [OTTD] - lobsters onscreen adventures
Some very nice screenshots. One little comment though - could you please use the in-game screenshot tool, and crop them, or alternatively, downsample your images to 256 colours, lobster? You're needlessly uploading them as 24-bit PNGs instead of 8-bit PNGs, which adds rather a lot to the bandwidth usage (1.72MB screenshot instead of 350KB-ish, for instance - that's 227MB of bandwidth used in the views its had, instead of a much more reasonably 45MB.) Anyway, if it's too much trouble, never mind, but if you could, it'd be useful.
I don't mind offering lots of bandwidth, but it's nice if it isn't wasted.
Keep up the good work!

Re: [OTTD] - lobsters onscreen adventures
hmm, OSX automatically makes them 24-bit, so i'd have to downsample them manually. ah well, anything for my favourite SROTU.
moar screens to come soon.

Oh lobster, you and your complex bridges and tunnels and whatnot. You should've been the world's first cool civil engineer.

lobster suddenly tackles the wood industries.

- The new loading station. The first electrics to haul freight are these rather awesome EF1's, which will be used for all wood transport.

- To ease the upward curve of at least 5 levels, the rail has been built in a way that saves the locs of hauling themselves to bits. The station is yet another example of how awesome ISR actually is.

- One end of the line. A rather weird curve, because the town didn't want to give up their wooden bridge. Still, it saves the hard-working Pacifics a bit.
