Re: Photo of the Month: Voting Open
Very hard pick this time, especially since they all have such nice landscapes and integration of the theme in them.
Do we get the chance to discuss the pictures afterwards or can we open a topic in the off-topic section where we can discuss it now (without influencing other people's choices)? What do you say Andel?

Re: Photo of the Month: Winner Announced
Indeed it is, although I also like the contrast of the land and the sea with the train between it on the last photo, especially with that shade of blue. I like the waterfalls and trees with the train running through it better though

Re: Photo of the Month: Winner Announced
It really was great, The Irish did a great job with that pic, I thought Raichase would be the runaway winner but it just goes to show, I can't be right everytime

Re: Photo of the Month: Winner Announced
Well, thanks to all who voted for me. Took me time enough of lurking around that place to take this shot. When I saw the theme of the month, I new exactly that I wanted this shot. Luckily, I was able to go back to my hometown during May to take that shot. Didn't have anything similar from my previous journeys...
Problem was, I missed about 3 trains passing the bridge, just because I wasn't fast enough. Finaly shortly before that shot, I had to change the battery too...
Anyhows, thanks again.

Re: Photo of the Month: Winner Announced
I have no doubt that the best composed shot won - you found the balance between a good landscape, with a good view of the train. Magical stuff, that!

Yes, congratulations, The Irish, it was a great shot, one of those photos that makes you wish you were in the place pictured!
