Bay Area Rapid Transit.

Post by Detal »

You know,
it would be kinda cool to have a BART Train n-grf for OTTD. Anybody up to the challenge?

How about yourself?

Anyways, it would at least be useful if you provided more information: what vehicles to include, statistics of those vehicles and where to find images to base the graphics on. With that, it's far more likely to find someone who is interested in creating a set.

To be fair I only had a vague idea of what it was - San Francisco isn't that big a city and its public transport isn't that famous! Anyways it would make a nice graphics set, try asking for interest in the TTDPatch Graphics section, but make sure you give lots of information (like plan which vehicles you want, their statistics, and give a link to plans/pictures) else you will get shot down!

I've been to San Francisco in the past, and know about the BART system.

I just wanted to explain that most artists and coders (like myself) are not really that interested in doing the research. After all, this is a non-profit community and creating a grf set is very time consuming.
I think the first person to do the research is the one who suggested the creation of a set. Other people who are interested will join automagically if they see the project is going somewhere.

Perhaps it isn't, but somehow I've got the feeling that every other time I turn on Discovery Channel, they show BART...

On the other hand, I have a feeling, that there are only three episodes of 'Friends', as due to some strange luck, whenever I happen to see one, it's one of the three I've already seen... :)

Actually, there are 238 episodes of 'Friends', so there are only 235 episodes left for you to watch.

I do watch the Discovery Channel almost every day, and haven't seen anything on the BART for ages. Maybe the tv networks in Poland only buy three episodes of every show

Or it is only my bad luck, and the fact I seldom watch TV...

I know what you're talking about, and I think it happens with every show you don't watch regularly. There must be a name for the phenomenon...
