This should've been posted to OpenTTD Problems [1], I think. But maybe we could help you if you would say, what's the problem, what have you done and what haven't you done... Description of problem in other words..

And yes, I can make tramtracks work too
hmm.. just a thought.. have you installed any tram track grf's ?..

I think that is the appropriate answer for his statement.

He posted in the wrong forum that he is not able to do something.
Asking in the right forum and giving some more information about his problem would surely resuld in a better answer.

You're right.. But let us be still kind people and help this poor fellow out...
shall we?

@5245jah
The process is simple you have to download any tram set [Generic Tram Set[1]]
Put it into your data directory and apply the newgrf from NewGRF configurations window. Simple, isn't it... And you would've found that thread [Generic Tram Set[2]], if you would've used the search [3] function or looked int the openttd graphics forum [4]

Regardless, maybe you should try thanking the people that took the time to help you?

In addition to this, you need a recent Nightly to get tram tracks to work.

Yes, I know the problem has been solved, but this piece of information might be useful to users with a similar problem.

And I agree to fjb's answer being the correct one.
If you have a problem, ask a question, don't post a statement.

Now, let's get this topic moved to the right subforum

No, not quite. The correct answer is (thanks, ESR):
This is not a question, and I'm not interested in playing Twenty Questions to pry your actual question out of you — I have better things to do. On seeing something like this, my reaction is normally of one of the following:
  • do you have anything else to add to that?
  • oh, that's too bad, I hope you get it fixed.
  • and this has exactly what to do with me?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
Projects: NFORenum (download) | PlaneSet (Website) | grfcodec (download) | grfdebug.log parser

That sounds almost like my answer, only longer. :)
