installing the graphics

hi I've got a problem with the new grf files i've downloaded for openttd i've installed them and everything but they don't seem to run
i think it could be a problem with the parameter but i don't what it is?

the grf files it afects are:

narrow guage rails, serbian trams and generic trams

please could someone help me out here!

I've got another problem and that is that i can't seem to get the tram track(as in it won't apear on the game tool bar) for openttd can someone help me on this.

You have to click and hold the button that opens the road build toolbar and then select tramway.
AFAIK you cant use all of those GRFs together. Choose one by selecting it in the NewGRF settings on the opening screen.

Which version of OpenTTD are you using? The stable releases (as in OTTD 0.5.x) don't support trams or tram tracks. In order to be able to use trams, you need one of the latest nightlies.

I have tried holding the road bar but trams doesn't come up
I'll try not using all the grfs at the same time

my version is the latest because i got it about three days ago

there are a couple of different "Latest versions".

do you have 0.5.3? or the nightly build -a sort of development version.

i dont think you have the nightly - because then you wouldnt have said

because the nightly is updated every night

so follow the link foobar gave you.

then make sure you have loaded a tram grf. also- they may not work properly combined with a different road veichle set.

Looks to me that you are using stable version (not nightly), because you don't have option for tram construction. I haven't tried compatibility of Serbian trams with Generic trams, so if they are uncompatible, let me know.

Nothing, you use nightly instead of stable.

again. it is not possible to get trams in the latest stable version (0.5.3). they are simply not in it.

try to get the nightly running. it should work the same way as a stable. you have to copy the relevant files from TT. or make a copy of your existing OpenTTD folder and unzip the nightly files in it and overwrite everything.
