Three more from my game, which has now progressed nicely after a slow start (due to brain being rusty after not playing for so long :P ).

The first shows the same Class 47-hauled Intercity service (seen above) heading towards Manchester with two Class 158 Regional Express units heading for Sheffield and a Class 321 NWT service approaching Stockport on a Manchester-Crewe service.

The second shows two Central-liveried units, a 153 and 156 from Coventry and Dudley respectively, approaching Birmingham New Street.

Finally for now, at the junction between the Manchester-Stafford route and the lines to Crewe and Sheffield, the Class 321 is held up by a Mainline-liveried Class 37 delivering food to Meadowhall Food Processing Plant near Sheffield. Really love that Class 37, one of the best IMHO! :D

Some more, getting more into my stride now (just don't scrutinise the different liveries I'm running together too much!)

In the first, a transitional Virgin train hauled by a Class 87 passes a DRS Class 33-hauled coal train.

The second shows an EWS Class 60 with a rake of iron ore wagons passing an empty food train (Intercity Class 47)

Finally, a Class 325 speeds along with its load of mail as the train seen above loads grain (not food as I said above  ) and a Class 59 approaches with livestock.

Some great Eye Candy there, Martin... how do you find the scenario with the roads all pre-built?

Very nice pictures. The transitional Virgin train is rather nifty.

Thanks for the comments guys, more pics on the way soon!

I find it makes it more realistic/more of a challenge, as I'm not tempted to demolish them all as I usually tend to do with Loco - in this case I just rebuild/reroute some if I really need to. (Except maybe at Birmingham New Street where it looks like I've forgotten to rebuild some looking at my pic. )

So you are saying that you built the roads.

No, Andel built the roads, it's his Midlands Scenario (http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=492594#492594)

Here is a really long train i built, this is the longest they go before they stop driving and this one only went 62 Kmh it had ample power (13200 hp pulling 1300 odd tons) It consists of 3 dash 9s and 38 boxcars.

Sweet, reminds me of pictures of American freight trains which never seem to have an end.

What do you mean by "It would stop driving?"

Thanks, that was what i was trying to do, i would like to do a game with a few freight trains like that but imagine the loading and unloading times

train-a-mania , when there is more than the 38 or something cars it doesnt drive, the green light is on and it doesnt drive anywhere.

EDIT: this is the largest a train can get before it cant drive, it was moving at 9 - 12 kmh
