a question of building design

Post by m4rek »

i am currently working on some buildings, i would like to know how to start, ie: the square for the base (see image) i took 4 lines and put them together to make a "square", is that right?

second, can i draw on the square boundary or do i have to draw inside the square?

is that the same for buildings over several squares?

third, is that how you would put 4 squares together?(see lower half of image)

NOTE: you may need to copypaste the image into paint and zoom in to see it properly

Why don't you download GRFcodec and decode TT's original grf file to see how big tiles are? 8)

Hmm, a building is 32 by 32, so I think that's correct..

For the second, you can draw ON the lines ;)

Third, why do you create a poll for this? :P It's really not needed ;)

I agree, why do you even open a seperate topic for this? I think you could very well ask that question in your "military" project as well.
