God must be made by something or someone. There has to be a start.

However, a possibility is, after the world is created, and when humans were formed, peeps made up the whole God-story themselves. That's the only way I can think of of how God is made... :/

Let me know if I offend anyone with these kind of thoughts.

evolution is a crock. we all know that the way genetics work we get our genes from our parents. any changes are dure to loss of genetic information so how can something change so radically whwn it would need new genetic information where does this information come from if the parents dont have it ?

Muttley: Its called Mutation. Loss of information is not the only change. Mutation can happen when things copy incorrectly, and can be caused by radiation, virus's and chemicals as well as naturally. Peoples dna changes threw hypermutation to keep things like your imune system up to date as well.... not shore but is that why red blood cells have less chromosomes?..hmm..(just came to me)

DNA isnt like a shopping list... if you rip it and stick it back to gether you would get a series of made up words... its more like numbers in the sence that mess them about and you still get an output with as much validaty as before it was ripped. (e.g. 6 is as much a number as 2.... but asldfkjasldfkj is not as much a word as 'house')...

....on other topic...if God created everything then he created himself, so he came out of nothing, so therefore came from nothing, so would that mean that nothing is the creater, and thus there is no creater...just simply a sub creater, like humans are to computers?

Atheist?...I was reading your site the other day, and im shore you said something about believing in an overwatching being, an afterlife and fate. (Although tecnically a atheist can believe in an afterlife)
I remember thinking your believes on entering the earth if your buried remind me of some aboriginal believes.

PS. Im not a beleiver if thats how it came across, im just a realist...and philosophically speaking that means that...all i know is that i dont know nothing.

I call myself an Atheist since my interpretation of the word is to have no belief in any God existing.

I guess it should be termed a little broader than that - I am a religious person after all.

Buddhists are technically atheists.

Buddhism is hard to say if its atheist or not, cause they have gods (in some variations), but not a person/charactor, that has God like charactoristics in the western/christian sence. (A creator). (e.g. Avolockitshar <something like that>) There gods also live with in the same rules/phisics as we do, so it depends on the meaning of the word god i guess.

Mr. X : the Nihilist paradox seems to just be an oxymoron. Its beleiving not to believe...crazy that someone tried to make something of what people would usually just take as nothing...bit like modern art i guess

This is what I was talking about when I said some people have some strange ideas about evolution. Evolutionary changes are not "radical" (and the few that are generally lead to a rapid demise), that's the whole point - and the main reason why the chicken/egg question has no meaning. To have any sort of answer, you have to define at what point down the genetic history the "chicken" stops being a "chicken" and starts being something else - and given how gradual changes are, that's a pretty arbitrary definition. A few people have made this point already, but not enough.
