It's always a good idea to keep various parts (like plain roofs or pantographs) of a vehicle seperately, they may just come in handy one day. It was basically impossible to remove your panto and try a new one. In the = view I had to reconstruct the roof first.
... who did that one [Rc6], BTW? I really should ask for explicit permission and just changed something here, something there. ...
My records show ThorRune and Fire ... and it is ok to modify/improve/use as base sprites from the Norwegian Set without explicit permission as long as they stay within the set, including the Swedish set and the original artist(s) get a mention.

I'll have another look at the Rc6.

No, I haven't given up yet!

Here are three Swedish passenger coaches in the older livery, matches the orange Rc1-6.

And now back to the Rc and Ra...

Edit: The new version of Rc is 'finished'
Edit: A new version of Ra too

Great job, AndersI; now we need fire to create the tracking table and gather those all important data, so that they can be included in the set.

OK, I've played around both with hand edited .nfo files and GRFMaker, here's a very beta version of a grf with my Swedish trains.

Now, my question is: How do I get the trains to look good, both out on the track and inside the depot? In the depot, two pixels are stolen from the right edge, but on the track everything looks OK.

It is a known fact that sprites bigger than 28px will not look right in the depot window.
I once came up with a fix (making the space 32px), but that has long been on hold.
It was also a number of releases back at Alpha 66, and made TTDX orginal vehicles look bad (same as they look on the track).

OK, so I'll just ignore the depot problem, and concentrate on getting things look good on the track.

Bit off topic but this is what it looks like with my Alpha 66 lca 1 Depot window (with fixes).
Finally took the time to test that my old source is intact...

I've added my proposal to fix the depot issue via NFO/GRF. http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php?page=ActionD . If this is accepted, I will add it to OpenTTD, and hope Lakie will add it to his changes.

Back on topic, the set looks nice so far. I was going to worry about the floating engines, but I see that's not just in OpenTTD. :)

Update - I've repositioned all the vehicles, pushed a lot of pixels (some unnecessarily, probably), fixed livery override for coaches after Rc6 and added another train (X9). PLMKWYT!

The X9, UB9, X9b has to be composed correctly manually for the moment ([X9; 1 or 2 UB9; X9b] may repeat once), the next part of the coding project will be to make it automatic, if possible (buy the engine, get the other end automatically, and just add passenger cars).

Any hints? Some suitable .grf to look at?

To get the rear part automatically, as far as I know, you just need to set the multihead flag.

Two screenshots from OpenTTD, one showing the normal train engine width, and the other using 32 pixels, for the train lists:
