Hmm... I've always used the DOS palette, and never had any problems with it, AFAIK.DaleStan wrote:That looks to me like the DOS palette, flipped end-for-end.
This is the Windows palette.

That's because the palette is correct on that picture.
This is how to get a correct palette for your own grfs:
1)Convert your trains to ttd win palette with option "match to nearest colour" (or something like that)
2)Then encode the grf file and you're done

Just decode, paste your sprites over them again, and encode again. That's what did the trick for me.Darkmast49 wrote:Well my trains are running in my games cuz I pasted my pics over others and that worked.. but when I create my own .grf it's colors are very weird...

Your xrel and yrel are wrong.

What do you mean by graphics positions?Darkmast49 wrote:good.. they are ON the track now.. Now I have to reset the graphics positions.. Cuz they give the wrong ones
All of the meta-data now looks sane, except for your compression.
NFORenum should be objecting to that, BTW.

1) Does it work in TTDPatch? If so, your grf is fine, and Open is broken.Darkmast49 wrote:... my .grf included in openttd.cfg ...
2) What does NFORenum tell you?

1) I don't have the right version of TTDPatch.. When I use my original files of TTDLX and past the TTDPatch over it and run TTConfig/exe, it saids error reading registry.. And I don't have Transport Tycoon Deluxe.exe in my folder of TTDPatch.
2)Where can I find NFORenum? (I know, I'm completely noobish right now

1) You have to have a full TTD install to use TTDPatch.
2) Somewhere down vvvv there.
