Hi George,

Loaded the latest LV4 and it works great.

Question ... will you be adding more busses? It would be nice to see some North American ones again.

Also ... for all buses ... why don't you make them all refittable with two cargo choices ... passengers or tourists? It would be easier for you for coding as they would all share that same feature, and in real life, most transit companies make their buses available for tourist charters as well as for regular passenger service. It provides them with a much needed source of additional income.

some answers are here http://george.zernebok.net/newgrf/ids4.html. As for American buses, they were done by DanMacK. He promised more of them, but is busy with other things, so we are waiting ;)

Because not all models had such modifications. As the example - LiAZ-677. There were no suburban or coach versions, because it was designed to be city bus only. that is life ;)

And what will it change?

But they use DIFFERENT buses for different purpose.

I never heard about companies, who used tourist buses for city transportations, or city buses for long distance transportations, except the case of abject poverty :?

It would be nice to be able to use some tourist-only coaches for passengers though.

I like the LVs, but I'm not a fan of the ECS, instead preferring to use Pikka's UK Industries. So I never see the benefit.

I'm not trying to say you're alienating some people by making tourist-only coaches, but I have moved away from LVs for now because Pikka's Industry Set, hell even Pikka's railway wagons without any industry changes, are too appealing to sacrifice in favour of your set.

However, as always, it is not difficult to appreciate your work - it's very, very good indeed.

You can use LVs without ECS.

It is easy to allow tourist buses to transport passengers only if no tourists are available. ... Done.

George, I love your PCC tram, but I don't think it should be refittable to all cargoes, or be available in 1925. Also, much as I wish the T ran that fast, I don't think PCCs are supposed to run at 318 mph!

I mean that in the very old alphas there was a tram to test trams. But in betas I've removed it, so no tram is represented in LV4 and currently, I do not plan any. There was a general discussion about IDs, so, I hope there would be no problem.

What date does it have (In the new grf window)? If it is 1-st may, than it is UPDATED version (fixes the issue with new action 4 in grf ver 7)
