London Underground (LUG) Set [WIP]

Looking pretty good
One problem, shouldn't you have an interior?

i've thought about that, trying out some diffrent schemes and things on the 1938 stock (my favorite by far, the quintessential Tube train). A note: The ones with the open doors (white spaces in them) are loading sprites, and the 1938 and 1959 tube stocks show the guard in the rear car (actually wrong, should be next-to last) I'm experimenting with jsut showing the inside and showing people boarding and deboarding the train.

I was under the impression that the LU trains were shorter than normal trains, a bunch of leople told me they weren't, after I lenghten the trains, I do research, and the are shorter than normal trains. 5 days "down the tube" (pun intended) and now I figure this out. Ah well, if you want to start coding, go ahead, and I will have some experiments up shortly with the people boarding/leaving cars.
EDIT: Well, people in trains look crappy, and i can't find a good color for the inside, so unless anyone has suggestions, jsut ignore the open-door loading sprites. I'm working on the 1959 stock.

Re: London Underground (LUG) Set [WIP]
I know this is a diggasaurus, but I was wondering if it would be possible to modify this set a bit? I've just downloaded and started using a GRF which mimics the UK rail system to a degree (rails, catenary rails, 3rd rail, both). However, the few LUG trains in this set run on the catenary rails, and not the 3rd rail (unless you do both ofc). Is this a quick fix?

Depends if there is a human readable source available.SwissFan91 wrote:Is this a quick fix?
If not, it still shouldn't be too hard. Get yourself a grf2html output to see if there is a railtype translation table (probably not). If not, check what track type property is set for the vehicles (most likely 0). Then add a railtype translation table that has 3RDR set as first railtype label in the translation table. This table is best added directly after the Action 8.
So adding this in the indicated location may very well do the trick:
Code: Select all
-1 * 0 00 08 01 01 00 12 "3RDR"
