Yes, I think the statue is fine as well. But I would expect the company owner to have a big fat belly and maybe a cane :)

Maybe if you would add some trees to the plaza, the proportions would be better (or otherwise to convince us, place it next to another building).

After seeing the great work in this thread I decided I would try to help too, so I made this house.

Although the roof is looking strange, the rest looks very, very good, especially the pool. Maybe, there can be more windows, on the left side.

I hope this is not last thing from you.

This looks very nice indeed, but like G0RR3 said, roof needs more work - texturing work.

Flatten the roof about 50%, will be like a bungalow ;)

I've changed a few things, especially the roof :D I also added a window to the left and the glass material for the windows has been modified.

What do you think?

Edit: I added a render from all four angles. The back of the house is still empty, but I think I'll make a large door or something there.

Looks really good!:D
One minor note :I think the fence should not be so dark.
The pillows on the 4 sides are white, but the fence if black(gray?).
So on the left side, in the shadow of the house, it is kind of disappearing.
I think the fence should be clearer, maybe white as the pillows.

b-e-a-utiful. I'd like to see some windows on the empty side, too, though :)

WOW...

Looks awesome

But the 'floor' (the concrete texture) doesn't really look good, IMHO.

Looks marvelous.

Add the door in the back and a tile path to pool and maybe some shrubs.
Some pipes/chimney on the roof.
Surround your tile with a frame on the ground and give it a material with the env button pressed, so you don't see the pool water under the wall.
Maybe use the material for the house on the gate wall aswel.

I made a couple of cars for general use (parking lots and such).
They're pretty ugly up close but I think they work at the zoom level we're using.

What do you mean by the gate wall? If you mean the low wall under the fence, then it's allready the same material as the house. It just looks much brighter because there's less shadow there.

I think I can provide few car models as well.

I am a member of RP Design, that is bit over 6 years old Need For Speed editing group. One of my friends (known as Jevgen) has been modeling few cars for NFS and as he is Open TTD player as much I am, I think he would be happy to give those models included. Of course I must ask this first and then there's the job converting meshes to some format that can be imported to Blender, but I don't think that being a big technical problem.

you can see possible models in our website:

To have "real" cars in the game would be nice. There could be real cars in the game matching the year they were released.

something that might be worth asking.

are the buildings going to have a version of all 4 angles, like the last 1?

1 of the features some people want is a rotation tool to rotate the map by 90 degrees.

if the graphics already had all 4 rotations, it would be easier to implement the feature.
JPG SUX!!! USE PNG!!!
There are times when JPG is useful, TTD screenshots is not one of them. Please use PNG instead.

Yeah thats the wall I meant. Right now there is light shining on the walls from below the ground due to the use of ambient occlusion.
If you add the extra ground surounding your tile and give it a pressed ENV material this problem will also be gone.

As far as I know, Yes.
