Crap... shall I add them how soon? They won't impact performance in any way as long as the user reads installation info from the documentation.

Mistook them as makercosts related stuff...

True, they don't affect performance, but we'll hopefully get fewer "bug" reports if the GRF can explain why it won't work.

At one point I did have some makercosts stuff at the very beginning, but now it's all at the very end.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Just post the new GRF files (DOS and Windows), and I'll put them in the ZIP files for download.

OK, reuploaded the files. Now they include checks. At least it seems to detect the newplanes and planespeed switches.

Do you have DOS and Windows? Can you post them here so I know which ones to include on the site? I have to leave shortly, maybe I'll update it this evening.

I just replaced the releases, they can be found from previous page. No DOS version, though.

One thing I want to say: DaleStan, your NFORenum KICKS ASS! :)

And here's the DOS GRF.

NFORenum can be picky about the NFO code, but I wrote it for what I thought was a good reason, and am glad that there are other people who find it useful.

krtaylor: try to get an updated tracking table up for each airplane in the near future so we can evaluate the situation for livery version.

Yes.... I think really all I need to do, is to change the colors of aircraft without any original-livery, back to green. And swap the last-minute replacements.

Could I please ask you to start using the (very new, only really working since a57) GRF Resource management? I'm going to ask all largish and popular sets to start using it from now on.

This is mainly for future compatibility, but also to eliminate problems due to several .grf files trying to modify planes. Since you modify all planes, you can just mark all plane sets as reserved, one of the easiest tasks in the resource management.

I'm saying this because I'm contemplating mandatory resource management starting with beta 1, which may not be too far off into the future, as a way of eliminating all the code for grfs to manually check whether other, conflicting grfs are loaded. This would require all files that don't use it yet to have it added at that point.

Of course, you're free to wait for yourself and see what happens, but at this point I don't see any good arguments not to use it other than laziness...

OK, I reset the table. I removed everything that I think has enough real liveries (I assume you coded those already, right?), and left the rest so people can draw them. I have some suggestions as to liveries but am open to thoughts.

Hey, Mod, can somebody please change the title of this thread to read "Planeset [release 1.0 available!]"? And say so also in the first post, with a link to the site?

Spaceman,
I'm not sure about it being sticky. None of the other sets are in as a sticky, so I don't think the planset should be either.

I don't think it will hurt, if it stayed sticky for a few days, for the sake of advertisement, then unstickify it.

IMO it's not necessary to stickify this. We didn't do that with any other set. And we already have enough stickies here. TBH, I don't see any reason tho make this a sticky.

anyways, great work guys.

Thanks for you too, zero1000. Your groundwork (the first alpha build) gave me just about enough inspiration to pull this one off :) (Further greetings to DaleStan for black magic coding, krtaylor to keep things somewhat under control and all the other artists and coders involved)
