(WIP) CLass 320 (new photos 26/7/05)

Hey, i have started to work on a Class 320 in SPT livery using the VC, and i have created the sprites and xml, but when i go to create the .dat locotool crashes, saying it has encountered an error, any ideas why this happens

NB this will only be release when i get authorisation from the original MSTS creator and my prob is fixed.

Edit: here's some more photos. Just need to wait on reply from msts model maker to release.

Try to make the .dat in VC too

thats what i done but that uses locotool to make them, well i solved it, i incorrectly numbered the .png's so i ended up with 274 instead of 271 (making a 3 car emu)

hehe bit tired, now its made the .dat crashes loco on the start-up

Goin to have to maybe make the engine and carriages seperate [/img]

If the middsection are the same you only need 3 sprites

it was doing my head in last night, when i make it an emu it crashes loco on start-up, so i remade it with only the front part (as in the picture) with the graphics bigger and it then crashed loco, goin to try and see if its the xml or the graphics causing the problem tonight.

If you manage to pull this off, you might be thanked for getting me interested in the game again as AC EMU's are definitely what was lacking.

ATM the graphics are crashing loco, so im goin to investigate on monday when ive got time off work. As for your 321 i may make it two different parts, i.e one for the driving part and one for the middle carriage, so u could in essence make it a 321 or make a 5 car or 6 car version with only 2 driving cars, providing i get the authors permission adn get these goddamn graphics to stop crashing loco. Any ideas why the graphics would crash loco anyone??

thats what i thougth but im using paasky's palette and the .dat is smaller than some of the others. What palette do u use IA?

hmmm, the palette won't load in my version of photoshop. IA u got adobe photoshop cs or photoshop cs2?

very interesting, cos that's the version i got but it says that the palette is not a recognised Microsoft palette. Well today i'm goin to try paasky's other palette to see if that works, and hopefully have this baby in-game soon.

i had the vc saying bogey sprites were present when they weren't hence why the game crashed. Anyway here's a 1st shot of the train. Now to make it 3-car and then release when (if) i get the msts author's permission

Link to it with [ img ] tags (only at online images), however, only do this with images which aren't very large (the screenshot you attached is too big, it'll mess up the forum layout when using [ img ] tags.
