Oh yes, this'll be nice. I hope I have time to play a game with all the various sets that are being worked on. I liked the original Tropicset, though I haven't used it since the US set came out. That Garrat was just classic.

I hate to be a topic digger, but this set had a lot of promise, what ever happened? What happened to uzurpator?

It sure looks like an interesting set, but digging up this topic is quite useless. Better take over or send an email to uzurpator.

EDIT: Fortunately he did release a number of sprites :)

Yumm, VODKA... make it Smirnoff Blue just to be sure

Btw, i can draw the Australian FQ in the next couple of days if you would like to keep this set alive. I also believe that Coalroads Artist has already drawn the DL, and im sure a DL500 could be very easily converted from Colaroads NSW 48 Class... afaik, the DL500 was a low nose version of the 830, which was basically a NSW 48 - only slightly lighter :?

Do we want these in company colours?

Edit: Oops  my bad, the DL500 was the American numbering system for the QR C-16... a steam loco

There is a photo on the web of a D&RG C-16 (which is not the same thing as a QR C16) called "DL500.jpg", which just appears to be an incremental number on that page (all the rest of the photos are "DLxxx.jpg").

The NSWGR 44 Class is indeed an Alco "World Series" DL500. The 48 Class is a hood-unit DL531.

Oh ok, i was going by the same idea, a gallery of American loco's numbered DL*** - one of which was DL500 - and beside it said C-16 Class, when i looked up the QR C-16 it was the same with Austrailan lodaing gauge modifications made and a smaller tender... but if you're right and it is the 44/930 Class then i think that's even easier to reproduce for this set :D
