My Busses sometimes stop next to the new Busstop and after a couple of seconds they go forward a little bit and then they use the Busstop. Is that how its supposed to be? Looks weird when busses stop next to the Busstop and wait bevor they use the Busstop.

There's a bug along those lines which is currently causing confusion to the Patchteam. No good ideas as to what's causing it. So we live with it, it doesn't seem too bad.

I have found a new, very minor, but interesting bug.
Normally when you open the Build Station window, the Show coverage area selection is Off. But if you turn it On, it stays on even as you change to different directions or types of stations.
But when you click on the lower right busstop, that selector resets to Off. Clicking on the upper right busstop doesn't do that.
I wonder if that is any relation to anything else?

Interstate - Autoroute - Autobahn
Who said you can't reliably control vehicles on one-way roads?
I just did it using Oskar's Bus Stops and some truck stations and some careful routings to control access to a four lane highway à la Interstate - Autoroute - Autobahn and it largely works with the very occasional and rare (probably too much wine with lunch) driver going the wrong way. Maybe we could get George to add some police cars to his next update. A couple of cops on patrol might catch those drunks.
Here is a save-game. Enjoy!

Yes, that's true - but I bet it won't work for the AI.

Kind of garish, but it certainly does the job.

The problem isn't that we can't make one-way roads - it's been done. It isn't that we can't make it possible to tell which are which - that's easily done with graphics. The problem is that the route-finding can't handle one-way roads, and that can't be fixed. It can be worked around using busstops as waypoints, but only for a human user - the AI is never that smart.

Actually, I suspect it would be, because there's a callback when a vehicle is loading/unloading that you can use to change the sprite, so you could just use the normal sprite but with off-center positioning. It wouldn't smoothly pull into the curb, though, it would just "jump" over to the side when it stopped. So it might not be an improvement.

Even if you did do that, there would be no functional change.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

It's possible but I am to lazy and simple set the vehicle movement pointer for normal streets

TTDPatch dev in retirement ... Search a grf, try Grf Crawler 0.9 - now with even faster details view and new features...
