what do you mean by that? Is it drawn wrongly, or is it too bright?

One little and inocent question, no offense intended, but, anyone does actually know how to code???
there are some basics you shouldn't infringe, such as making longer-than-the standard wagons. They will just clip over each other, a nasty experience.... However is quite possiible to make the sprite smaller, and to code it too.

Anyway, there ya go two sketches, I'm now working on the beloved japan set, so i haven't got much free time...

Looks good, but I can't see much difference.

I can't stop laughing. You toylands are soo funny.

Back to work. Hadgs is designed to transport grain, while Gags is designed to carry goods. The little and only difference are those three things on top, which are doors, thru which these wagons are filled.
So these two might be a normal and a refit option. Weight/capacity is the same.

And a simple question: Can we use different sprites for loading and unloading??? Because we have a lot of carriges that are filled at the top and unloaded at the bottom. (Falls, Faccs, Hadgs, etc...)

1. I don't think that's possible

2. I don't think you would see the differce. They are just very small sprites.

I think that's not a patch function, but you should ask some patch developer to be sure.

After a long discussion and some thinking, I have decided to make the Hadgs and Gags 31-pixels long and have the 1-pixel gap between them.
Question: Aren't the diagonals little too long?

And BTW: Do we have any cargo carriges for transporting livestock?
At least in our country, we don't transport livestock by rail for 40 years, only trucks are used.

Colonel32: the diagonals are short enough for the vertical spacing, but if the near face was moved 1 pixel back, it would be far more obvious where the vehicle breaks are.

Sorry, I think I didn't get your point. Could you be more specific?

Colonel32. In the diagonal veiws, vehicles are spaced 16 pixels in the horizontal direction and 8 pixels in the vertical direction, so to fill the sapcing you use a sprite which has a side that is 16 pixels long, and lines which are horizontal on the vehicle, are drawn with 2 pixels across for 1 down. This is what you have drawn. However, if you make a train of these, they will all seem to merge into one. this can be avoided by reducing the side to only 15 pixels (or for short vehicles, 1 pixel less than the spacing). Vertical veiws are spaced 16 pixels apart as well, so to get the same effect, the top of the vehicle should take up 15 pixels as well.

A sketch of a wine carrier (alcohol whatsoever), of epoch I. The green semiwindowless thing is a cabinet that carries the pumps. DB invention, just don't ask me.... also there's a brake cabin version, but just the side view

EDIT: also some hoppers, actually, the whole of the small coal hoppers i found on my beloved 2002/2003 Märklin catalogue :D
The first one is the calssical (i corrected some bits), the second and third are containers that are filled by the top and empied by cranes (how odd, whatever, that's what the description says), the 2 container version is for dense coal, the wupper has some doors at the top and one side door
and the talbot is a self discharging

if you don't like the style but like the design, ask me and we could negotiate about livery changes

the wine carrier looks pretty cool to me, but what could we use it for? Goods?

The hoppers are fine, but the Talbot would look awsome with unloading sprites.

The talbot is filled by the top and discharged through holes at the bottom-side, so the loading unloading graph is mostly the same ((which i haven't done), Some basculating hoppers cannot have their unloading graphics beacuse it'll seem rather odd when loading, and as it was said before, this graphics MUST be the same

the wine carrier ... yeah, a small tanker for goods, random liveried with other thousand different good carriers such as cement and the such

Sorry, I thought that Talbots are those small carriges used in mines, that tip to the side when unloading.
