Re: AIAI
The original author of this AI hasn't been active for over a year on the forum. I'm not sure if anything you have reported will be resolved. It may be worth considering resolving some yourself, or trying a different AI.

savegame is of a custom openttd build (viewtopic.php?f=33&t=85608).
This crash is similar to another I posted already, on an official OpenTTD build, but for GetUnloadStation instead.

Re: AIAI
I noticed that the AI is stealing goods from materials I sent to the factory. Not sure if this is intentional or not, but it sure is annoying.

Re: AIAI
Hello
Tschö, Auge
The Ai doesn't steal anything. Your task is to tranport $anything. You don't own the freight and you don't own products made from delivered freight. If it is not you who transport the products it is someone else (in your case the AI).Odogster wrote: 04 Feb 2020 20:44 I noticed that the AI is stealing goods from materials I sent to the factory. Re: AIAI
On many multiplayer servers, it is forbidden to transport secondary cargo from industries that are supplied by another player. This act is usually called "cargo stealing". It would be nice if the AI could be configured to respect that rule.
Meanwhile, an offending station can be removed using the cheats.

I guess that's fair, thanks for the help.Auge wrote: 05 Feb 2020 13:15 Hello

Hello

This is an arbitrary rule on a server. It's not part of the game mechanics in itself.odisseus wrote: 05 Feb 2020 19:32 On many multiplayer servers, it is forbidden to transport secondary cargo from industries that are supplied by another player. This act is usually called "cargo stealing".
Is such a rule a part of the settings (at least for the current game; I never saw such a setting)? If not, how should the AI know about the rule?odisseus wrote: 05 Feb 2020 19:32 It would be nice if the AI could be configured to respect that rule.

Re: AIAI
The game does not limit the players, whether human or AI, in their choice of which industries to service (unless some game scripts are enabled). However, on many servers transporting others' secondary cargo can result in a ban.
The AI, of course, has no way of detecting whether this rule is in force. However, it could provide its own configuration setting and modify its behaviour based on that setting.

Hello

What do you mean with "stupid activity"? Is the linked website broken? Did someone take over the account under the browser version was made public on the site?
What do you mean with "my space in the game"? What is your space? Who is "it"?

Hello

I would not expect any reaction from the author. The Github repository of the project is archived and the latest commit happened in September 2016. On the other side, AIAI is licensed under the terms of GPL2 and everyone is free to take the code for further development.

AIAI suicide
So, I was asked to report weird behaviour. I'm not running vanilla openttd, but jgrpp-0.43.0, so maybe this report is irrelevant. But, to my untrained eye it seems like something that might not be affected by using a patch, so I'll report it anyway.
So, the bot has built its depot so that the way to its main stop is blocked. This is counterproductive. To the extent that the company went bankrupt. The screenshot explains it well enough.
The scenario I'm playing was made by creating a map from a heightmap, choosing nice newgrfs, saving, renaming the save file to .scn, adding a bunch of cities and roads, saving the scenario and choosing 'play scenario' in the opening menu of OpenTTD. No newgrfs were added during the game.
The file content_download.tgz does not include the directory 'baseset', because the attachments have a size limit.
