Why do the objects get disabled/greyed out after a certain year can you make it unlimited?

Its been a while since I worked on this set, but if I remember correctly I did make them unlimited.
Aren't you possibly confused with Marico? viewtopic.php?f=67&t=52035 That set does have objects that are year-dependant.
Could you make a screenshot of the disabled/greyed out objects to be sure?

This is the top 3 sections of objects, however it's all of them to ISR/DWE Objects: Ships

Thnx for the screenshots, I've checked the code and apparently I did set a timespan, its from 1699 to 5741.
Looking at your screenshots I saw that you are at year 193500

I think you may have to get a reward for the longest running OpenTTD game ever! :P

But seriously, I will put the issue (also for other Object-sets I made, some of them have the same year settings) on a to-do list, but it will be very very very low on that, just cheat the year back for the time being…

Ahh, I see.
Like I said, very very very low on my to-do list (a list that is covered by a huge amount of dust), so "soon" is out of the picture.
The GRF is GPL-licensed though, so you are very welcome to fix the issue yourself.

If you split/fork a GPL project into one of your own, then that project you're working on is yours. That's the entire point of the GPL license. The agreement is that you can use any portion of all of his work for your own, as long as you agree to allow him and anybody else to do the same with your work.

lol, Kamnet, I was just typing something like that that ;-)
Question though:
Can they keep the GRF-ID and name or do they have to create the fork with slightly different name and ID? Just to be sure how this should be done ;-)

Anyway, I would have no problems with changing the first post of this thread and pointing towards a new development-thread if you would continue work on this GRF.

I believe Bananas is OK with the same GRFID, but it may make things confusing for users trying to upgrade or play scenarios that might include it, so changing the GRFID is preferable.

Nope, BaNaNaS doesn't accept multiple projects with the same GRFID at all.
No pics no clicks. Seriously.

Right, then the best way to go to continue work on an abandoned GPL-licensed project is via a fork with (slightly) different name and its own (unique) GRF-ID.

I do hope that you dont expect that everyone does that, just because they do that ;-)

EDIT:
That said, I had some free time and removed all of the Introduction date and End of life date properties, so the objects should now be totally year-undependant.
GRF is on Bananas, here are the sources:
SOURCES_ISRDWE_objects_v1_1.zip
Sources v1.1
(1.94 MiB) Downloaded 180 times
When I have some more free time I will check my other Objects-sets to see if they are year-undependant.

This doesn't look familiar to me, it may be somebody's custom mod. Can you point us to where you found the image?

Thanks for the quick answer!
I created the screenshot.
I use this newgrfs:

Downloaded in-game, so not custom mod.
But somewhy the overlaping doesn't works on the station.
And doesn't work on the trucks too, trucks is over it.

You can find them in the Drive-Through submenu:

Example684.png
Example684.png (57.02 KiB) Viewed 2766 times
Use it to overlap a "regular" truckstop.

Actually you should also use another overlap from the other side to complete the overlap.
As you can see in the image that was posted, the overlap now only comes from the far side of the road and thus the buildings of the truckstop are not overlapped (the road is changed though).
You also should use an overlap coming from the near side of the road (with the brick 'bridge" ), to also overlap the buildings of the truckstop.

In this case, because of the canal on the near side, there is no room to place that overlapping tile. So it looks a bit weird now ;-)

Probably misunderstand something.
I do this steps:

At step 4, I can't find that road overlaping tile wich going to from left to right.
