Scalable UI for playing in 2k and 4k
I have a 4k computer monitor and the UI is so tiny. When the resolution is set above 1080p you need a larger (pixel size) UI

Since OpenTTD 13 you've been able to scale the size of the UI up to 5x. It's in the Game Options menu.

Perhaps the UI needs to scale automatically for higher resolutions instead of being a hidden option.
Re: Scalable UI for playing in 2k and 4k
It does. See that option "Auto-detect size" right below the slider? It's enabled by default, and will use the UI scale setting from the OS as basis for the game's scaling setting. So if you have Windows set to 150% UI size, OpenTTD will also use 1.5x interface size.
(Also, I would argue that it's not exactly "hidden", when it's right there in the Game Options window available from the main menu. An actual hidden setting would be one that requires using a console command to change.)
