This server is a public server with 15 companies and up to 25 players at a time, open to spectators 24/7. The server starts in 1850 and will run to 2050. It is loaded up with 250 NewGRFs. Not all of them will be on Bananas, some of them you will have to source from TT-Forums, Simuscape, GitHub or other places. A few of them might not be available online at all, I can't remember everything I loaded up. Send me a PM on the OpenTTD Discord server and I'll do what I can to help you, but it's not feasible for me to throw them all up online. So, that's your first challenge. Your reward is you get to play or watch a cool game.
Rules are simple:
1. Try to play this in one company with a few friends to give more players an opportunity to run in their own company.
2. This is aimed to be an eyecandy/cooperative game, not a competitive game. Lots of resources everywhere, so no need to steal or be cutthroat. You can build your own industries if you wish to make some cool looking stuff. You can also destroy industries that are in your way as long as nobody is using them.
3. Towns and landscape can be terraformed as needed. Don't go nuts and build huge mountains or flatten a bunch of terrain.
4. Use the Planning tool to mark out your turf first, try not to take huge chunks, and be sure you fill up your space before you start claiming more turf.
5. If you password protect your company, please be mindful if you decide to stop playing and unpassword it. If all the company slots fill, it means new players cannot join. To that end I will monitor companies and if it appears to be abandoned I will reset the password and let new players take over. With that said, don't log into other companies just to wreck things and be a menace. I'm running this out of generosity.
6. Technology will advance in this game. The looks of buildings and landscapes will change. Try to be respectful of "historic" places but also don't be afraid of making updates and changes for the sake of progress.
7. Just be nice to each other. Cooperate, communicate with each other. Make new friends and make good choices. I don't want to spend all my time babysitting or assigning mods.
