Tubular Bridge replacement

Hi

Normally I don't do pixel work for Games, here is my current version of a tubular steel bridge replacement. It's my own creation not based on others work, so the road texture doesn't fit very well...
(The yellow dot's at the street bridges are blinking)

Wow that rail bridge looks very good!

But the 'birdge approach' (the start and end section) does't fit the bridge.

With the monorail bridge it might look better when removing those tiny footers under the monorail.

And how does maglev look like at this bridge?

If you look carefully (use zoom) there aren't TTD footers under it.
There is no maglev version. I have no idea to make maglev version without using TTD Sprite as base... so they aren't supported...

Bridgeheads (toeholds) are shared with Concrete & Girder Steel and so can't be changed...

is it possible to make a more general one (like a concrete base/like buildonslopes trake foundations) with would suit them?

and they look cool 8)
(though at a first glance it looks as if the railway isnt supported from underneath...)

I like them, you should do a standard road version of the bridge and I'll definitely use them. The Tubular Bridge looks..... odd.....

I am not going to use the Road Texture from TTD, maybe I can add later some texture that fits better to TTD, but currently I haven't any idea how to create one...

No way, sorry.

My try to do a "evil" (Josef) hack doesn't work as I would liked,
so without a newbridges Patch features, bridgeheads can't be changed aswell...

looks good. maybe if you change the color (although it wouldn't be as nice), it'll fit the approaches.

The evil hack works, but I can't release this hack to the public, because it's hardcoded for TTDWin American.exe and some other aspects like risking malware grf files...

Oh, I understand. But it shows that it CAN be done, so perhaps it can be cleaned up, made not evil, and released to the public. Not necessarily by you, if that causes problems, perhaps Josef will let it sail under his flag.

Nice work so far Oskar! Keep up the good work, you draw well :)). What is it with you and bridges that works so well?

Also, don't mind these suck-ups, (;)) I like it even with the original approaches :P
