Should the station accept anything?
ie. did it say 'accepts: whatever' when you placed it?
Try rebuilding it closer to the industry/town.

Are goods delivered to the station when you send a train of that type to the station?
This is normal operation for the 'selectgoods' switch.

Did you build a waypoint station immediately before building this one?
Goto rail building -> select normal stations -> rebuild your station. You may need to wait for the station sign to diappear first.

it is not only the stations the is doing it is allos the bus and truck stops and the airport and i haft try to rebuilding it couster to town...

Did you place a waypoint-station before you build the airport?

If so, first go to the station-build tool and set this item back to 'normal' stations. Then build the airport. It sould work now.
