The scenario is not available yet, and still requires a lot of work, but a heightmap is already available from the scenario post.

If you have any ideas or recommendations then please let me know.
I have not added trees yet, so the landscape might look rather empty still.
1. Let's start with Cape Town it self. Here is my approach of creating an interesting OTTD representation of the Cape landscape. The Cape biome is dry, but not at all desert. Atleast the desert slopes show sedimental layers and it also stops trees from growing over the mountaintops.
Between Cape Town and Rondebosch you can see a brewery, this is a reference to the old Castle Brewery. Castle is a famous South African beer so it's important that alcohol produced here reaches every big town.

Cape Town as it lays in the City Bowl surrounded by Lionshead, Tablemountain and Devil's Peak.
2. Just south of Rondebosch and Newlands lies the wine region of Constantia. This is part of the Cape Peninsula and allows access to the small fishermens city of Houtbay. Here you can see the "vine yards" that produce some of famous Constantia wines.
The workers of the vine yards live in the shacks at the Constantia T section.

One of the oldest wine regions lies right on the other side of Tablemountain, Constantia.
Thanks for reading, more updates in the weekend.3. Here's a preview of the next area I will be working on. All the locations have been placed on the map and now I will begin to add desert tiles and rivers. Then I route my way to the town areas. And last I can add the actual town. I do this because I want to make sure the roads will connect properly as towns grow. Finally I can add industries based on historic information.
In the left of the map you can see some of the Cape Flats townships, such as Khayelitsha, Delft and Kuilsriver. The people living in these dry dusty shack towns work in cities such as Somerset Wes and Strand but also in Bellville and sometimes even Cape Town. In the map they have to travel to work by mini-bus, but there's definitely a demand for "metrorail".
