Roadvehicles gone when using DBXL - anyone got an idea?

I was just about to buy my first bus when I saw, that the list of RVs was empty.....

My newgrfw.cfg looks like this:

newgrf/signalsw.grf
newgrf/tempsetw.grf

newgrf/McTrucksw.grf
newgrf/VolvoTrucksw.grf
newgrf/ScaniaTrucksw.grf
newgrf/tempsetpw.grf
newgrf/dbsetxlw.grf

Have I run out of sprite slots, or is there something else I've done wrong?

Answer: You're in 1923. There are no RVs until about 1930.

If you want to start with any year.

It command should be:
startyear ####

ex: startyear 2000
so, it will start in 2000
