I have installed the dos version and the windoes version of the game and still I have been unable to play the game my computer crashed on sunday and I have tried six times to reinstall the TTDLXPatch but no luck.

Next time, PLEASE go to "Problem" if you have problem with TTD.

Did you download patch or?

- download & install TTD (install by setup.exe to new location)
- download & extract TTDPatch
- run TDPatch
tell us if this still happen

I did what you suggested and redownload the Ttd Patch and still it will not
work. the one problem I think Ttdx Configurator and I'm still having no luck trying to get the game to run under windows.

ttdload[w].ovl
ttdpatch.cfg
newgrf[w].cfg
ttdpttxt.dat
when you first time started ttdpatch ?

I have reinstalled the game four times and still I don't get the TTDC which has all things you need in the game and I cann't find any other version of the TTDC. can some one send a version of the windows version that will work please.

I always get this one http://lumted.stud.hive.no/tt.php?file=/TTD_win.zip ,.. then just extract it, run setup.exe (or don't run it but then use TTD Registry Editor... ... extract TTDPatch run ttdpatchw.exe

I'm still having problems and when finaly get the game start now I have no trains or vehicles at all. I have reinstalled the game aagain for the fourth time. if any one has this problem please let me know.

No trains or vehicles? Edit ttdpatch.cfg so you have "startyear 1950", or load the DBSet in newgrfw.cfg.

What version of Windows do you have? It sounds like the game, and the Patch, are working fine, it's just that you can't get the Configurator to work properly. I've had trouble getting the Configurator to work on Win95 although recent versions do better.

And if the Configurator isn't working, what is it doing?

I have the DB set and still my game start year is 1930. and I have reinstalled the game now 13 times and still I don't get the TTDC work at all it will not run at all. I have turned off the computer and it will still run.
now what can I do to get the game run on my computer please help me.
