Re: Leanden's Screenshots
Hm, looks interesting. Which roads do you use?
btw, if you don't cut the screenshots, one could tell which newgrfs you use
From the console the command "screenshot no_con filename" is also quite useful
(without quoatation marks)

Yup its UK roads. And the project is obviously much larger than what you can see in that picture, but im gonna reveal stuff slowly. Theres no vehicles running yet, just infrastructure.

Well i'm trying to use BROS for realisitic liveries, but with the lack of any coding taking place at present, this is proving somewhat restrictive on available rail vehiclesClass 165 wrote:I was just wondering where all the trains wereLeanden wrote:Yup its UK roads. Re: Leanden's Screenshots
Ah, yes I can see how that would be restrictive, but then again it would leave you with a completely electrified networkLeanden wrote:Well i'm trying to use BROS for realisitic liveries, but with the lack of any coding taking place at present, this is proving somewhat restrictive on available rail vehicles

Re: Leanden's Screenshots
You totally should cease to use those waypoints. They look completely out-of-place as they neither fit the ground nor the tracks.

Horrible roads around Slough station, I think there's too much in too small a space.

Re: Leanden's Screenshots
Thats mostly due to the limitations of the current map sizes supported by Openttd. As soon as they roll out the bigger map patch into trunk (which im not expecting soon
) Then i'll be able to manage space A LOT better. Here is a helicopter shot of London.

I don't like the roads around Slough in real life, so i think he's got it to a TBadger wrote:Horrible roads around Slough...

As to Junction 15, I Spent 2-hours stuck between Junctions 15 and 23 on the M25 last week! Seems no-one can understand the "Traffic Congestion, Keep in Lane" signs all over the place and were slowing things down even further by lane hopping. *grumbles*
Seriously though, fantastic work and fantastic map, I'm keeping an eye on this thread
