[REL] Midlands

Post by andel »

I have been (for the last 8 weeks) whenever I was on a train, been working on a Midlands scenario... the product has now been finally finished and is being Beta tested. I hope to have some screenies to show soon.

The finished article will come as a plain landscape for you to build into a scenario at will.

Awsome. Might have to start playing loco at home again before i go back to uni in a few weeks. I was gonna do a midlands scenario for OTTD, but haven't got round to it so far.

Can't wait for this one andel! - Litterally, off to uni in a few weeks, where I use an apple, so can't play loco!

How much of the midlands is going to be done? Because I've always seen just east of where I am, and just west but never the actual thing :p I modifued the Leicestershire map though and guestimated where I am.

Looks Awesome.

Can I just ask one question? Why is my hometown called Lichfield City instead of just Lichfield?
Lichfield does have two stations; Lichfield Trent Valley which has the sole purpose of linking the Cross City and Trent Valley lines, and also Lichfield City station which serves the city centre.

Have to agree, looks amazing! Covers all the ground noone else has yet!

Nice to see loads of local towns to me, I live between Nuneaton and Tamworth, and I can see the line which goes around my town, so I look forward to putting that myself!

But that is phenomonally accurate, I really look forward to playing it!

I'm hoping to get it out over the weekend...

Getting an error message when I try to load it - I think its the NL Maglev, which I don't have. I'm gonna download it, see if it fixes it.

Really enjoyed this scenario, thanks for releasing it Andel.

I have posted some pictures here http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=495497#495497

I especially liked working on the West Coast Mainline, so I am working on a scenario for that myself at the moment.

I had seen the gallery, and I've had a go now, posted a screenie http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=496434#496434. Very impressed, also nice that there aren't too many buildings so (at least at the beginning) you don't just tear down anything in your way to make your tracks. I'm sure that won't be the case in a few years though, it's already growing.

I just couldn't believe how much stuff there was in the BR Set now, the last time I used it I think it was v2, amazing. :)
