I had reported this problem under the a64 Crash thread and it persists under a65 so I am starting a new thread.
If this new thread is an issue, moderator please delete it or let me know and I will.
I have copied the description from a64 and updated and clarified and replaced the crash log with the latest one.
This one happens when clicking to start a random new game.
However, if all grf's are set to off ("!" ) before loading ttdx, and before starting the game, the game will start normally and then all the grf's can be activated in game with no problem
This crash happens when planesetw.grf ... the latest 1.0 version (August 23, 2005) from their website ... is loaded.
I do not think the planeset file is directly at fault as it worked fine with a63 and earlier.
Question: Is there something in the planeset file that needs to be updated to accomodate a64 and a65?
Attached below are latest crash log, allnewgrf.cfg and ttdpatch65.cfg.

Apparently the crash with the planeset will be fixed in alpha 66.SuperTycoon wrote:DittoDeath wrote:Yeah! you're right, I have had this problem too, since I enabled my planesatw.grf.
The planeset's grf is not at fault.
Meanwhile the workaround is to set newhistory=off or newshistory off in your ttdpatch.cfg

I have different problem: during game when I try to change autosave interval, and when I right-click "Statistics" button in company window.

If the problem goes away if you disable the planeset, find one of the a66pre versions, and use that instead; I'm pretty sure Patchman has fixed the problem in all the available pre versions.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
