Does anyone know if there are limits as to how many types of cargo can be received by an industry? Could it, for example receive livestock and grain and grapes to make food? Or is there a limit of 2 in/2 out for each industry? Also, ona similar topic does anyone have the info for towns receiving cargo. Are they the same as industry or can they receive 4 types (mail, goods, passengers, food)?

That's not what I meanted, what I mean is that an industry can recieve cargo (of what it needs) unlimited, but the production is only to a certain of tons per month. What the level per month is, is diverend between the industry ingame.Ducky wrote:So, each industry can only produce 2 types of cargo, but can receive any amount?
the same with towns?

Towns can recieve unlimeted, but can produce only a maximum of tons/passengers per month (also unknow by me, search in the topic's, there are a vew with important info about max production per month).
Sorry
Sorry, i think we both have the wrong end of the stick
I didn't mean about volumes of cargo produced by an industry (i.e. 1000 tons/month of coal from a mine). I meant was it possible for an industry to receive coal, oil and steel (i.e. 3 types of cargo in any amount) to produce something else (goods, for example)

Re: Sorry
Yes, that should be possible, take for example the Food Industry (forgot it's name), it does accept both grain and livestock.Ducky wrote:Sorry, i think we both have the wrong end of the stick

as far as i can see and understand ducky ( i outrank you so listen
) industries can accept 3 different types of cargo and but they can only produce 2 different types of cargo:
<useobject desc="produces[0]" class="8">CHEMICAL</useobject>
<useobject desc="produces[1]" class="255"> </useobject>
<useobject desc="accepts[0]" class="255"> </useobject>
<useobject desc="accepts[1]" class="255"> </useobject>
<useobject desc="accepts[2]" class="255"> </useobject>
this is from the chemical plant as you can see. The layout is the same for all the industries. I'm not sure is these can be expanded to e.g
<useobject desc="produces[2]" class="255"> </useobject>
in order to produce a 3rd cargo.
Also if u want any help i'll do what i can, but loewe knows a little more than me, but i'll try
