... sometimes! but not always it seems. I can't seem to find a rhyme or reason to it. I have a savegame attatched (forgive me if this isnt the proper file to put up, let me know what needs to be up and I'll put it up). Try sending one of my latter vehicles to the depot and clicking on them. On my machine it simply goes to the winXP crash report screen. Ive also attatched my patch .cfg file for examination.
WinXP/TTDW & 1.9w
Thanks!

I've seen it before
Isn't it like this: you buy 3 trucks, give the first 2 orders and set them on their route, then you close the depot window, open it again and then when you click on your 3rd truck, it crashes
You could select the truck through the vehicle list, not using the depot !!!

Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future
Thats pretty much it. I haven't noticed an actual 'pattern' per se, but that pretty accurately describes it. At first it was just my trains -- just one train in particular. I created an oil->power rail line from a 2 platform station connected to just one train depot. When I created the oil train it wouldn't budge. I don't know whether the engine I gave it just wasn't powerful enough to haul 3 oil tankers but it just wouldn't exit the depot. I decided to cut my costs and cut the train after repeated attempts to check the train's status resulting in.... a cash
I'll do what you recommed and see if that makes it less crash-prone
(thanx!)

Hmm. You know thats obviously it. I thought it wouldn't matter if the tracks were mixed behind the station, but obviously it does. This is the setup I had
==[ station platform 1 ]==\\
==[ station platform 2 ]====[ Depot ]
So train 2 obviously realizes that platform 1's train is on the tracks and refuses to come out. Duh.. Thanks for reminding me everyone
Sorry guys, its been at least 2 years since I last played TTD
But yeah, bug still there, legitimate post
