Are you referring to the latest real-mode drivers (ie, ES968.COM, ESSCFG.EXEFirst...Go get the latest drivers...

I recently had an oppurtunity to upgrade my ESS AudioDrive 1688 to a new PCII have no problems with sound in any other program so I don't think
it's my soundcard or a loose connection of some kind.
sound card, but decided against it, as my AudioDrive works with just about
anything I throw at it (Win 3.1, 9x, XP, DOS apps, Linux, etc), I know
exactly what type it is, and every works fine.
