Nice screenies.

It is a bit too dark and apocalyptic looking tho. OTTD should have brighter looking graphics. :)

The minimap is nice but perhaps too small for OTTD's bigmaps

1 - buildings is realistic from years 1940-1945 ( look to the station )
2 - trees is very inspirating
3 - train and rail looks very good, or no?
fact is what this is war strategy, but has suggest pictures :)

I have played a lot of Sudden Strike Forever and can say that the gameseries has best 2d graphics made so far. :)

still those are WAYYYYYYYYYYYY of when comparing to TTD and let us face it: the looks of the game was what made it the classic we all love so much today :)

I like these buildings, storages, whatever which are not part of any city or industry. Randomly placed not usable buildings will add piece of reality, but not in current engine...

I like Sudden Strike 2, but I like Blitzkrieg better :wink:

Unless you were to have a minimap and a miniminimap... if you get what I'm saying, i.e. having the minimap available at 2 different scales, one fairly local (as in the screenshots above) and one global (showing everything).
