One time proceesor using is 100%

When i play the game in the beginning the performance is very good.
Then in one moment the performance get down each few seconds the game stops some seconds.
It is unplayable.

when i save the game and load it again the problem is not over.
only when i load the game before i had the problem it is good in the beginning but after playing a short time the problem is back.

I,am using the naugtly bugs of today.

In the topic about bigger maps i tolled about this problem i thougt it was a bug.
but not everyone has the problem.

Maybe it is a problem of compatiblyty with my PC.

AMD Athlon 2400XP
256 MB ram Geforce.
1024 MB ram.

On the screenshot you see how the processor working in the beginning and then how it works when the trouble begins.

Are you sure it's openTTD using the CPU, or is it another program?
Do you have it in fast forward mode?
Your computer specs should be more than enough to run the game without problems.

You are not a victim of SPAM? I've noticed that computer hangs a short while if a newspaper is about to appear. A lot of messages could probably make problems like this.
There is another thread about Message spamming. Look here.

Try to disable as many messages as possible.

when i play another game there is no problem.

even when i load another map in OPentdd there is no problem.

when i load the same map on a earlier date there is no problem
but when i reach the same date again the problem is back each time when i reaced that date.

The computer is hanging each two seconds for two seconds.
Not only when there is any message.

i have tried everything you sad but nothing helps.

I started a new game and after several years te problems begin even as in that other game before.

I can,t play opettd longer then sevaral years.
it becomes unplayable.

Try turning off full animations. They take up some cpu power.
It's interesting to note the spikes in CPU usage, rather than simply constant 100% use (which is what you get when you are using fast-forward).
Personally i'd be inclined to guess it's a bug.

Even i think it is a bug when i turn of full animations the problem stays always.
I only have the problem with openttd.
other games working well.

How can i do a bug report?

Ships are the problem.

I have tried the game on my older PC.

The same problem.
But i discoverde it only happens when i build ships.
i give my ships always a name is that maybe the problem.
but give ships always problems.

I set off all my ships on the two computers and the game works perfect.

I have only 5 ships.

Only when i stopped de lastet one the game runs normal.

i reopened an old game to see what happens with largest cities, but, the game hangs continuously and i have processor usage at 100%
i have a lot of vehicles but with older OTTD versions i didn't had this problem, plz fix this problem

i have a P4 3.02GHz; 512MB RAM; Ati Radeon Mobility 9600 64MB, is impossible that the game hangs in this computer

Today i started i new game without ships.

And after playing a short time the same troubles started again.

I only have.

20 trains
18 road vehicles
1 aircraft.

How is it possible that i see many pictures of people playing the game with huge transport networks.
And when i build a small network my proccesor is struggling.

i can confirm that there is something about nwe pathfinding, if i disable it i can play well with no slowdowns, if i enable it the game hangs and i become mad to disable it again because the mouse cursor is freezed with the game

I have disable the new pathfinding.
I don't hope my trains will drive the wrong route but it is better then that this unplayeble system.

I hope my game will stay normal.

There are some issues with the new pathfinder, and they should be resolved in the next couple of days (I hope)
