how to deactivate ultra-fast planes

Post by Seriphyn »

The patch makes the planes 'realistic' by increasing the speed. However, I seriously don't like it how it is, so what switch do I have to deactivate to get it back to normal?

Also, some trains in the desert climate which are diesel puff like a steam train and steam trains blow smoke like diesels! Is this because of the new vehicles conflicting? how do i fix this?

Planespeed. Turn it off in ttdpatch.cfg

Probably. Turn off grfs (Comment out from newgrf[w].cfg) until it's fixed.

Are you using an old version of TTDXC? If you add planespeed=off to the end of that file it *should* work.

I'll post mine here.
planespeed is ON, open the cfg with notepad and turn it off.

For other stuff, try the Manual.

you see - if you use the ttd configurator it gets rid of comments

it is much easier to just use notepad

if you have previously used ttdxc, you can delete your cfg file and run ttdpatch.exe -W ttdpatch.cfg to make one with all switches included, with comments ;)

[edit by patchman] it's -W not -w, and you don't have to delete ttdpatch.cfg before doing that either
