Bus get lost

Post by kenfu »

I just tried out the game and built a small road network. As the towns developed and built more roads (looks like going towards one of my connected town), the buses began to get suck at that unfinished road - looping & getting nowhere!

Well, the first thing you want to do is to give your bus a route. To do this, click on the bus, and then press the last tab. This turns your pointer into a crosshair (no, you can't shoot stuff). Then, click on the stations you want your bus to go to. If this does not help, try inserting waypoints, which is done by clicking on the road where you want your bus to go.

I always try to connect that dead end road to another road, so they can continue their route

Connecting the dead-end road works great! Well, until the town expands again (which, in Locomotion, will happen within the next few... oh, there it goes, it's grown again) and more roads are built.

I find it's best to build a waypoint just before the junction where you want the truck or bus to turn.
